Day 1 of setting up my exhibition;
Prep;
In order to prepare for my exhibit, I have ironed all my garments and put a wash on my mini pots for my illustrations to go into, but after doing that i have decided against it, as it doesn't look very crisp and finished. I have drew up a rough plan of what i want it too look like in the back of my sketchbook.

Today I have started tacking up all the pictures and the putting things where i think they look good, after changing things around several times, i need to decided how many mannequins and garments i want on show. i feel that my cabbage and leek dress are stand out garments, but i feel that i need one of my more commercial garments with the display. after putting my mini pots onto a large cabinet, i need to use something else as it doesn't leave enough space for the mannequins and makes everything looked cramped. But i still want it big enough so i can put my sketchbook on it.

I'm still not sure why my exhibit isn't looking right, and after changing the box to a smaller one, i feel that something needs changing and after changing mannequins to a different style i feel my garments fit them a lot better now and the exhibit looks tidier. Now i have changed them and added all my garments, i feel it looks very crisp and finished well. i have added the continued illustrations onto the wall using a "washing line" effect and i feel it fits in very well.
Evaluation of Exhibit Outcome;
I am very pleased with the outcome of my exhibit, I think it really suits my theme the way its set out and the small extras that i have put in. Although it took a while and a lot of changing i like the way i have 2 commercial and 2 of my one off dress to it, to show the diversity and difference yet similarities in the garments. If there is one thing i could change it would be to have all matching mannequins with matching bases as i think that would completely finish the exhibit and make it look like it was within a real finished unique exhibit.
