Fashion Show/FMP

 

Evaluation for Fashion Show;

Although the Fashion show was very stressful,  i felt that the end result could not of gone any better! Leading up to the fashion show i had to be very on the ball and organised with the my time keeping, as because i was using real vegetables, i had to create them only a few hours before the show so they didn't wilt or start smelling. So the day before everything that needed to be ready, had to be otherwise some of my garments wouldn't of been finished. but due to my forward planning they were all completed and i felt it was to a high standard. One of the things that did go wrong was one of my models dropped out an hour before the show was due to start, so in the short time scale i found another model and had to swap 2 of my models garments so they all fit in them correctly, although one of them did need to be pinned in slightly, i didn't feel it effected the way my garments looked upon the catwalk. As a whole i felt that the fashion show was very successful and i felt that was down to forward planning along with good communication with my models. if i could do it again, i would maybe try a different technique and change the music that they walk down to, as due to my music being lost the day before, the DJ was left in charge and i felt that my music was maybe a little to dark and heavy for such a bright and delicate collection.
