Final Designs

Design 1;

I have designed this dress based around my research and development sketches that started off as the "Puffball/Orange Style" dress. The dress is going to be made out of a basic which cotton with edging around the Sweetheart neckline and around the large cabbages. i am going to create around 10 different sized and different colour cabbages. (Not exactly 10 as unsure how many i will need to fill the bottom of the dress) The Dress will be tied at the back with a white ribbon with an open back effect. this garment is going to be based around a size 8 model, but due to the ribbon it would potentially stretch to a 6/10.

Design 2;

My second garment that i am going to be making as part of this final collection is a 3 piece set, a plain white cotton basic bandeau along with a basic skin tight midi skirt with the same material, and a sheer belt with chives across it as a belt. the fastenings i am going to be using on the garment are a large 32cm zip. (As its very tight so this large zip with enable the model to get in and out of the garment, and along with an elasticated bandeau. This garment is going to be based around a size 10 model.




Design 3;
For my third design i have created a "leek" style dress. this will be made with a basic midi bodycon dress made with the basic white cotton with green gradient up it, and the the leek strands will be upon a belt made out of different materials such a sheer chiffon, a net type of material and the basic white cotton, and from this they will be spray painted so they are all different colours. i will be using the large thick wire that i tested previously in my project and the fastening for this garment will be a large 52cm Zip so it is easy to get on and off the model and the belt will be Velcro. This garment is going to be based around a size 10 model. 

Design 4;
I have developed this design from my sketch book and is going to be a two piece garment, the top will be a basic over the should cut off t shirt crop top with sheer inserts in the sides that have been created using the heat press, with a contrasting skirt with heat press transfer on it of different fruits and vegetables. this is going to be green and is going to gather around a ribbon fastening to give it a skater style. The garments will overlap showing of the figure of the model. This garment is going to be based around a size 8/10 model, but due to the ribbon could be changed a size up or down if necessary.




Design 5;
My Final Garment is going to be another live garment that will be made like the chive one the day of the fashion show. the rest of the garment will be draped white cotton being held up by the neck of the garment with one fastening of Velcro. there will be a sheer panel at the bottom of the garment to represent "underground" to go with the theme of the garment being "Carrots". This garment will also be backless but have a draped effect like the front. This garment will be based around a size 10 Model, but with room either side to be a 6/8/12.
